After a 24-3 season and a trip to the final four last year the girls basketball team has not stepped off the gas pedal this year. So far through 21 games they have a record of 17-4 and are looking to win their 3rd league title in a row and are looking to make a deep playoff run again.
One of the ways the team builds team chemistry is through team bonding. Paige Murdock (12) said “My favorite part is just hanging out with the team through our team bonding events.”
Last year the Eagles lost two of their leading scorers, but that didn’t stop others from stepping up this year. Brenna Hallam (12) said, “I’d say the biggest difference this year is that anyone can step up on any given night. We don’t rely on just one or two stars. We all work super hard and you never know who’s going to be the one leading the way.”
