Pine Creek held their annual Sadie’s dance last friday, March 13th. This is just one of four dances the school holds every year. Some of the others include Homecoming, Winter Formal, and Prom. This year the theme for Sadie’s was Y2k which means Year 2000 bringing back the old retro look.
Stucco member Canyon Cannel (12) said, “Our whole direction we were going with was that 2016 was big on coming back which we can’t really do a theme on so the next best thing was y2k.”
Many people had different opinions on the theme, “I like the theme.” Marin Flewelling (12) said, “I thought y2k was fun and people could interpret it differently.”
Unlike other dances, Sadie’s usually has a casual vibe. Isaac Perigo (12) said, “I have been to Sadie’s in the past and those were fun because i didn’t have to wear a suit and it was more casual and less people go but the people who do go are the ones who have fun.”
